Esta foto fue tomada en Niceto Club, contra una pared de espejos que reflejaban el escenario, ese es el porque de los cortes en las figuras y fondos. Si bien no es el tipo de fotografía que se acostumbra cuando de recitales se trata, por ser Juana Molina, merecía un encuadre abstracto!

This photo was taken at Niceto Club, to a wall made of mirrors that reflected the stage, thats the answer to the cuts of the figures and back. Even when this is not the type of photography we are used to when it comes to concerts, Juana Molina deserved an abstract framing!

INUNDACION EN BUENOS AIRES

Buenos Aires, 2010.

El día de ayer, Viernes 19, Buenos Aires se vió tapada de agua hasta el cuello.
Por la tarde el cielo ennegreció y mucha agua cayó en poco tiempo, causando varios problemas en la ciudad. Algunas calles y cruces importantes fueron cerrados debido al alto nivel de agua. A mi me tocó vivirlo ya que estaba en casa de una amiga cuando empezo a llover y tube que caminar hasta mi casa 30 cuadras ya que los colectivos que pasaban por ahí, estaban suspendidos.
Así llegue al cruce de Avenida Santa Fe y Avenida Juan B. Justo.
No soy de postear más de una foto por vez, pero este caso lo amerita desde lo periodístico. Aunque roza lo catastrófico, yo la pasé muy bien gracias a mi Nikon y un montón de situaciónes coloridas y acuosas!

Yesterday, Friday 19 th, Buenos Aires was under water. During the afternoon, the sky went black and lots of water pour from the sky, causing a lot of trouble. Many streets and important intersections were closed due to the amount of water. I was at a friend´s house when it started to rain, and had to walk 30 blocks to my house since the buses that could take me there were suspended. Thats how i arrived to Avenida Santa Fe and Juan B. Justo intersection. Usually i do not post more than a picture every time, but in this case its worth it from the journalism view. Though the experience limits the catastrophic, i had a great time thanks to my Nikon and lots of colourful and waterful situations!

Even though Warhol has nothing to do with the portraited here, his terminology applies exactly.
The Gay Parade congregated thousands of people this past 7 of Novembre 2009, departing from Plaza de Mayo towards Congreso. In between that people, this one: Karma Police.
